BUDGET TOUR IN ARMENIA
Representing the beauty of Armenia in just three days is not an easy task. However, we have carefully designed this tour for travelers who are spending only a short stay in our country. The program includes architectural masterpieces, a visit to the green resort town of Dilijan — often called the “Armenian Switzerland” — the breathtaking Lake Sevan, the largest lake in the Caucasus, and a city tour of our beloved capital, Yerevan.
Day 1: Arrival – Discovering Yerevan by walking tour
Day 2 : Sevan, Sevanavank monastery, Dilijan, Haghartsin monastery ,Tsaghkadzor ropeway
On the second day, we will explore northern part of Armenia. Our first stop is the stunning Lake Sevan, often called the “blue-eyed beauty” of Armenia. This magnificent high-mountain lake captivates every visitor with its endless blue waters and scenic landscapes.We will visit the historic Sevanavank Monastery, located on a peninsula overlooking the lake, offering breathtaking panoramic views.
Next, we continue to Dilijan, one of the most beloved resort towns in Armenia. Known for its lush forests and alpine scenery, Dilijan has earned the nickname “Armenian Switzerland.” Nearby, we visit the medieval Haghartsin Monastery, an important spiritual and cultural center beautifully nestled among forested mountains.
On the way back, we will stop in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia’s most famous ski resort. Here, we take the Tsaghkadzor Ropeway up the mountain to enjoy spectacular views. The natural beauty of this area is impressive in every season.
DAY 3
Tour to Echmiadzin , Mother Cathedral , Gayane Church, Zvartnots
The spiritual center of Armenia, the city Etchmiadzin( Vagharshapat) located 20 km far from Yerevan, where we will see the Mother Cathedral of the country.
The ruins of one of the most beautiful buildings in the history of the Armenian people are on the way to Etchmiadzin. It is about Zvartnots temple.Our group will visit this place in their way back to Yerevan.
Yerevan is the capital of Armenia, it started as a tiny settlement on the banks of river Hrazdan more than 2800 years ago. But now Yerevan is more than a city with an ancient culture. It is presented to tourists with its warm atmosphere, delicious cuisine, numerous springs of drinking water, the nice models of modern art. During our city tour we will visit the most important museum of Yerevan- History Museum of Armenia, where you can feel and see the unique culture of a country with a history of thousands of years. We will also visit the legendary Ararat Brandy factory in Yerevan, learn about the history of Armenian viticulture and taste different types of brandy.
Day 4: Trasnfer to the airport, departure
